Tobi Amusan, the holder of women’s 100m hurdles world record from Nigeria, has experienced an obstacle in her quest for Olympic success.
With a time of 12.55 seconds, Amusan secured the third position in the initial semi-final heat.

Her position has become precarious, as she is now dependent on the chance of qualifying for the final as one of the non-automatic qualifiers with top speed.
