BREAKING: NAF airstrikes during Maulud celebration in Kaduna result in feared deaths among villagers

At least thirty villagers are thought to have perished in a horrifying bombing in Tudun Biri, Igabi Local Government Area, that was purportedly coordinated by a suspected Nigerian Air Force aircraft.

At nine o’clock at night, the incident happened during Maulud, a festive event commemorating the birth of Prophet Muhammad.

A resident stated, “They were celebrating Maulud (the birth of Prophet Muhammad) when the jet dropped the bomb, resulting in the immediate death of over thirty people.”

There are signs that the death toll could rise.

Authorities have not yet offered a comprehensive account of the events as of the time of publication. The event has been verified, and later today, an official statement is expected from the state’s Overseeing Commissioner of Internal Security, Samuel Aruwan. The Nigerian Air Force has not yet responded to the event.
