BREAKING: Missile strikes Chernihiv, Ukraine, seven people are killed and 90 are injured
In a strike on Chernihiv, a city in northern Ukraine, seven people were murdered, including a child of six.
90 individuals were injured, according to the interior ministry of Ukraine, including 12 children. 25 persons were brought to the hospital.
The attack caused damage to a theatre, a university building, and a central square.
President Volodymyr Zelensky wrote on the Telegram messaging service that Russia had transformed a “ordinary Saturday” into “a day of pain and loss.”
Regarding the supposed strike, Moscow has not yet responded.
Currently, it is known that 117 people were hurt during the incident, according to the city’s acting mayor.
Oleksandr Lomako reiterates that seven persons had passed away in a post on Telegram.
Prior to this, the interior ministry reported that 25 of the 90 verified injured victims had been brought to a hospital.
