The 10th Senate’s majority leader, Bamidele Opeyemi, a senator from Ekiti Central Senatorial District, has taken the position.

Furthermore, Ali Ndume, a senator for Borno South Senatorial District, was appointed Chief Whip.

After a private meeting led by Senate President Godswill Akpabio, both were publicly seen on Tuesday.

The All Progressives Congress, which is currently in power, has recommended their rise.
