BREAKING: Fubara Vacates Govt House as Sole Administrator Prepares to Take Over

Governor Siminalayi Fubara vacates Rivers State Government House following his suspension, as a sole administrator gets set to assume control.
Suspended Rivers State Governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, has left the Government House in Port Harcourt amid the current political turmoil in the state.
Sources indicate that Fubara vacated the premises on Wednesday morning, paving the way for the newly appointed Sole Administrator, Admiral Ekwe Ibas (Rtd.), who is expected to take over shortly.
A visit to the Government House on Wednesday revealed a tranquil environment, with security personnel ensuring order. At least three armored personnel carriers were positioned at the main entrance, highlighting the tense political climate in the state.
A security source confirmed that there has been a change in the security detail at the seat of power, with all personnel previously assigned to the Government House being replaced.
“The governor departed Government House this morning, and the new administrator has yet to arrive. We anticipate his arrival at any moment. The security arrangements at the Government House have been reorganized. I can assure you that the situation is calm, and nothing unusual is occurring at this time.”
Meanwhile, residents of Port Harcourt continue with their daily activities, as there are no indications of a breakdown in law and order.
President Bola Tinubu declared a State of Emergency on Tuesday, citing the vandalism of pipelines and the failure of stakeholders to resolve the political crisis in the state despite multiple interventions.
