BREAKING: Fire Devastates NNPCL Apapa Tank Farm
A devastating fire broke out at the NNPCL Tank Farm located on Kayode Street in the Marine Beach area of Lagos, Nigeria.
Eyewitnesses, including Mr. Tunde Are, reported that the fire started around 11:00 am, causing panic and chaos among the people present at the scene.
In an attempt to control the fire, individuals scrambled to find ways to contain it until the arrival of a rescue team.
The team, led by the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service and supported by the Lagos State Emergency Management Authority (LASEMA), tirelessly battled the raging flames.

Despite their efforts, the fire continued to rage, posing a significant challenge to the emergency responders.
The inferno was believed to have been triggered by a spillage of petroleum products within the terminal’s boundaries, exacerbating the intensity of the blaze.
Mrs. Margaret Adeseye, the Director of the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service, confirmed the incident and emphasized the collaborative efforts being made by various emergency responders within the oil and gas industry to bring the situation under control.
The situation remained critical at the time of reporting, with the rescue team working relentlessly to extinguish the fire and prevent further damage.
