BREAKING: Edo Guber Election – PDP Wins Four Out of Six Announced Results

In the Edo State governorship election, the Independent National Electoral Commission, or INEC, has declared the results of four out of six Local Government Areas, all of which were won by the Peoples Democratic Party, or PDP.
The Federal University of Technology, Minna Vice-Chancellor and Returning Officer, Prof. Faruk Adamu Kuta, made the announcement of the results.
Asue Ighodalo, the PDP candidate, received 14,199 votes in Esan South East LGA, 15,311 in Ovia North East LGA, 9,339 in Uhunmwonde LGA, and 5,907 in Igueben LGA, according to the results.
The All Progressives Congress, APC, candidate, Monday Okpebholo won Esan West and Owan West local government areas with 12,952 and 12,277 votes, respectively.

The contest for governor has reportedly been reduced to Monday Okpebholo of the All Progressives Party and Asue Ighodalo of the Peoples Democracy Party, according to the results that have been uploaded thus far.
