BREAKING: Atiku’s petition is dismissed by the Supreme Court, upholding Tinubu’s election

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Atiku Abubakar’s petition to the Presidential victory Petition Court’s (PEPC) September 6 ruling, which affirmed President Bola Tinubu’s victory, has been rejected by the Supreme Court.

Justice John Okoro read the lead judgement, which addressed all seven objections made against the appellants and was subsequently endorsed by Justices Uwani Abba-Aji and Mohammed Garba Lawal.

The court confirmed Tinubu’s triumph after upholding the PEPC’s ruling.
