Breaking: Around 60 attorneys from the Labour Party invade the INEC building to examine voting materials
The legal team for the Labour Party has arrived at the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, in Abuja to go through papers after its displeasure with the results of the recently ended presidential election.
According to Channels TV, the squad is presently meeting with commission representatives.
The purpose of the meeting with INEC officials, which is taking place at the Commission’s national headquarters, is to start the process of inspecting the voting equipment used in the presidential election on February 25.
Dr. Livy Uzoukwu served as the team’s leader and around 60 attorneys were on it. After the meeting, they are anticipated to brief the media.
