Ahmed Aminu has been appointed for a four-year first tenure as the Executive Secretary and Chief Executive Officer of the Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF) by President Bola Tinubu.
The Petroleum Technology Development Fund’s new Executive Secretary/CEO most recently held the position of General Manager of the Education and Training Department.
His appointment follows the resignation request made by departing Executive Secretary/CEO Bello Aliyu Gusau, who will take a pre-retirement vacation of 90 days starting on September 26, 2023.
According to Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, on Tuesday, Tinubu also gave Ahmed Galadima Aminu, the new Executive Secretary/CEO of the PTDF, the authority to act in that capacity until he begins his next four-year term, which will begin on December 26, 2023.
The media assistant added, “The President wishes the new PTDF Executive Secretary/CEO well in the discharge of his duties.”
