Breaking: A judge forbids INEC from using MC Oluomo to distribute ballots

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has been ordered to refrain from involving, using, or otherwise dealing with Musiliu Akinsanya, also known as MC Oluomo, the chairman of the Lagos Parks and Garages, in the distribution of election materials and ad hoc staff for the state’s upcoming elections.

Judge Chukwujekwu Aneke granted the order after the Labour Party, LP, and Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, its candidate for governor of Lagos state, filed an application.

In Obasanjonews’ opinion, INEC was not present for the events.
