Boko Haram beheads 11 individuals, sparking fear in Borno

Said to be Boko Haram members, 11 loggers were reportedly beheaded in Borno State’s Damboa Local Government Area.

Reports state that the incident happened on Monday close to Bale, a remote village in Damboa lga.

Local vigilante sources claim that the deceased’s bodies were found at the scene at approximately five o’clock in the evening.

Yes, six people who had been dismembered were found at the scene late on Monday night. Their bodies were all in shreds when they were discovered in a pool of blood.

“We performed the Islamic rituals for their burial this evening. Despite the fact that five persons were absent. We’re not sure if they managed to flee or were taken hostage,” a vigilante source claimed.

The loggers were working at their charcoal site when the illegal organisation unexpectedly collected them up, according to another prominent member of the vigilante group, who also revealed that six people were promptly killed.

“They came on camels and surrounded us; they were about fifteen,” the source claimed. They pursued me as I raced quickly. Luckily, I know this terrain well; that’s how I got away.

“We mobilised later and arrived at the spot. As we could see, there were six bodies at the location, but we never heard from the other five.

“We now have 11 corpses overall after five more victims were found this morning. Thus far, the area is occupied by soldiers and vigilantes,” he stated.
