A member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Bode George, has urged President Bola Tinubu to honor his commitments to the Nigerian people, emphasizing that it fosters a positive perception of the nation among its citizens.

During an appearance on Channels Television’s Politics Today, George responded to President Tinubu’s recent address where he advised Nigerians to pray for the country and refrain from speaking ill of it.

George commended the sentiment behind Tinubu’s speech but stressed the importance of translating words into tangible actions that instill hope in the populace, particularly the youth facing unemployment and a lack of prospects for the future.

During the Ramadan Iftar gathering at the State House in Abuja, President Tinubu urged traditional rulers and religious leaders to avoid speaking negatively about the nation in their teachings.
