Bode George Slams Tinubu: Nigerians Suffering Due to Anti-People Policies
Bode George criticizes President Tinubu’s policies, accusing them of causing hardship for Nigerians and exacerbating the country’s economic challenges.
Bode George, the former Deputy National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has urged President Bola Tinubu to alleviate the hardships faced by Nigerians due to his policies that are perceived as detrimental to their well-being.
Discussing the state of the nation, George reminded Tinubu that Nigerians are both hungry and upset.
Speaking to journalists in Lagos on Friday, the PDP leader urged the president to address and resolve the country’s economic challenges.
He stated: “My message to Tinubu is straightforward. Nigerians are hungry and frustrated. As the Commander in Chief and primary guide of our economy, it’s crucial that you address the economic challenges facing our country immediately. You must alleviate people’s suffering now.”
“There isn’t a distinct market for APC and PDP members; all Nigerians shop at the same places. Everyone is experiencing the effects of this government’s unpopular policies. Bola Tinubu should take time today to consider whether his administration’s policies are benefiting the people.”
When he arrived in 2023, the price of a liter of petrol was below N200, and the exchange rate for the Naira was under N800 to a dollar. What is our situation today? What exactly are this administration’s economic policies? President Tinubu, Nigerians seek prompt clarity on this crucial issue.
Ultimately, my concern is this: What will become of our country if the New World Order’s influence spreads across our nation?
With political instability in the Francophone countries around us and significant tensions with their former colonial ruler, France, are we prepared to maintain stability and strength? Let’s begin this discussion now because addressing issues early can prevent larger problems later.
