The Attorney General of Nigeria, Abubakar Malami, has been urged by the Biafra Nations League (BnL) to drop his appeal against the Federal High Court ruling that ordered the release of Nnamdi Kanu, the instigator of the movement for Biafra’s independence.
In a statement posted on Saturday morning and signed by the deputy, they made the decision.

They issued a warning to the federal government against continuing to detain Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
This comes after three oil workers on the Bakassi Peninsula were ambushed and kidnapped by militants who are thought to be BnL affiliates.
