Betty Irabor, the founder of Genevieve Magazine, has addressed the recent rumors surrounding the death of veteran Nollywood actor, Olu Jacobs.
Social media has been abuzz with claims that the esteemed actor had passed away at the age of 82.

Olu Jacobs has been battling dementia for some time.
In response to the rumors, Irabor took to Twitter to clarify: “Olu Jacobs is alive and well. Please disregard any rumors of his passing.”
Furthermore, Jacobs’ family has released a video to confirm that the actor is indeed alive and in good health.
In a statement last year, Jacobs’ wife, Joke Silva, shared the impact of his illness on their lives.
“It has been a challenging journey. There came a point where I had to accept that this is our reality and that the person I married is no longer fully present 80% of the time,” Silva said.
