The directive to execute this step was issued by President Bola Tinubu. Due to her suspected involvement in a N585 million scam, Edu was suspended on Monday.
Allegations have been made that the minister moved public monies into personal bank accounts.
Enitan assumed leadership of the Ministry on Monday night, as per information that Obasanjo News24 was able to collect, following receipt of a letter from the Secretary of the Federation’s office.
Through his Special Advisor for Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, Tinubu instructed the suspended minister to “hand over to the Permanent Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation,” according to Obasanjo News24.
