Benue: Gov Alia appoints individuals to various positions
On Friday in Makurdi, Benue State Governor Hyacinth Alia approved the appointments of four heads of parasatal agencies, three board members, and twelve new aides.
According to Mr. Tersoo Kula, his media assistant, the governor instructed the appointees to always prioritise the state in all of their official dealings.

Two individuals were named: a manager of the state-owned Novus Microfinance Bank and a director-general for the Bureau of Special Projects and Infrastructure.
Additionally, the governor named a director general for the Education Quality Assurance Agency and a director general for the Bureau of Agricultural Development.
He named the Muslim counterpart’s board members and the chairman of the Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board.
Along with appointing members of the State Universal Basic Education Board and twelve assistants to work in the deputy governor’s and his wife’s offices, Governor Alia also named a chairperson.
