Bello Turji-Led Terror Group Strikes Sokoto Community: Nine Killed, Scores Abducted

Terrorists led by Bello Turji launch a deadly attack in a Sokoto community, leaving nine dead and abducting several residents, escalating fears in the region.

Armed terrorists attacked the Dan Tudu community in Sabon Birni Local Government Area of Sokoto State, resulting in nine fatalities and one injury.

The heavily armed terrorists also kidnapped multiple individuals and stole valuables from the community.

Zagazola Makama, an expert on counterterrorism and insurgency in the Lake Chad Basin, shared this information on Monday through a post on his X account.

Makama revealed that intelligence sources identified the culprits as members of infamous gangs led by Saidu Zango, Bello Turji, and Jammo Baki. These groups are known to be active in the Gangara area.
