Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State has urged those disappointed by the decision of the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal on Wednesday to help President Bola Tinubu rehabilitate the nation.

Bello made the announcement at a press conference shortly after paying a Thursday condolence visit to Vice President Kashim Shettima at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

Nothing is as successful as success, he declared. We are content, Nigerians are content, and the truth is out there. We appreciate everything that occurred on Wednesday. The reality has come to light.

“Consider the Justices deliberating for nearly 14 hours to issue that important decision. Nigerians in Nigeria and abroad are content, so I believe it is time to go to work on governance.

I tell everyone who feels wronged that there is only one nation left, Nigeria. To ensure that we fix this country, they should all get together and support President Bola Tinubu.

The governor declared that whatever struggles individuals were going through were a result of historical influences.

“Undoubtedly, we have Mr. Fix It, who is doing his best to tour the globe to make sure that Nigeria is fixed. We are therefore pleased that the issue has been resolved.

“In my opinion, there is no justification for an appeal. Instead, I will urge them to renounce any appeals to a higher court.

They should counsel and caution their followers to accept Wednesday’s verdict in order to save time and resources. not a flaw. I give God thanks for everything.

In a similar event, Bello counselled the supporters of the two APC senators from Kogi who lost their seats before the tribunal to abstain from violence.

This is democracy, he said. and they have the option to appeal. They’ll, in my opinion, take the necessary measures to prevent any planned acts of violence.

We will adhere to the law’s due process, no matter what the final result may be.

But I want to reassure you that even based on the rulings made yesterday (Wednesday) at the Court of Appeal, we will have our three Senators in Kogi, I can guarantee that.
