Prior to their NPF matchup this weekend versus Sunshine Stars, Lobi Stars held their first practise at the Lafia City Stadium on Thursday.

The Makurdi team has chosen the pitch as their residence for the upcoming campaign.

Barrister Isaac Dalandi, Permanent Secretary of the Nasarawa State Ministry of Youth and Sports, assured the team of his support.

Daniel Atsaka, the captain of the Lobi Stars, expressed gratitude to the Nasarawa State Government for agreeing to host the club’s home games this year.

He informed the media for the team, “We are honoured to share our NPFL moment this season with your state and the good people of Nasarawa State.”

“With the help of everyone in your state, we are optimistic and looking forward to an amazing season.”
