Political musician Dauda Kahutu, better known by his stage name Rarara, has attacked former President Muhammadu Buhari, alleging that before turning over power to President Bola Tinubu, he “crippled every sector of the country.”
Renowned for his backing and melodic affirmations of the Buhari government, Rarara expressed remorse about his partnership with Buhari.
“I’m sorry I backed Buhari because I had high hopes for improvements in Nigeria, but by the time he left office, nothing had changed. In a widely shared video, he declared, “All government agencies are crippled by Buhari’s administration and need to be revived.

He added that the eight years of Buhari’s administration were inferior to Tinubu’s 100 days in office.
Rarara declared that he ought to be contacted prior to the appointment of ministers in Tinubu’s ministry.
If he is not named a minister, he should be included in the selection process, he stated.
“In the event that I am not appointed as a minister, it should be documented that I was summoned and seated alongside those who will be appointed as ministers, and those individuals were selected alongside me,” declared Rarara.
He added that members of Tinubu’s opposition have been appointed to different posts within his administration.
Rarara claimed that the only people who made as much of a contribution to Tinubu’s triumph in the North were former governors Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano and Aminu Masari of Katsina.
In addition, he disclaimed receiving any financial advantage from the Buhari administration and urged anyone with proof to the contrary to come out.
