Yesterday, a total of 28 participants were welcomed into the Big Brother Naija house for its ninth season.
With its “No Loose Guard” theme, this season guarantees thrilling surprises that will keep audiences at the edge of their seats throughout the next 10 weeks.
This season’s top prize is valued at N100 million, comprising of a substantial cash reward alongside an SUV. Further sponsored rewards will be revealed in due course.
A sumptuous new abode with the most sizable wardrobe to date has been unveiled on the show, ushering in an opulent season marked by glamour, drama and cutthroat rivalry.

Niniola’s electrifying rendition of “All Eyes on Me” and “Formula” served as a high-octane prelude for what is to come this season. Moreover, duos have been pitted against each other among housemates this time around creating added intrigue into proceedings.
Every Sunday, there is a weekly challenge known as the “Custodian Challenge” that adds to the thrill. The winner gains rewards and potential advantages capable of altering their game experience.
Chinwe and Zion, each with their own distinct names, comprised the initial duo of housemates to enter the Big Brother Naija household.
The duo announced their arrival at the house as a couple, having been in an intimate relationship for five months.
Chinwe portrayed herself as a faithful individual who would form coalitions with other contestants to advance in the competition.
Fairy David and Mickey, also known as the “Radicals,” claimed to be proud of their virginity as a pair.
Florish, the third duo who have been buddies for more than a decade, mentioned that their intention to participate in the show was “to disperse connections.”
Describing themselves as intelligent and daring individuals, Florish’s duo is comprised of DJ Flo and Rhuthee.
NdiNne, consisting of an aunt and her niece, the fourth pair to be showcased expressed their intention of proving to viewers that family bonds are stronger than any other.
Nne and Chinne, the individual names of this pair assure that they are bringing in complete authenticity at 100 per cent.
Topher and Sooj, who named themselves Aces, identified as intellectuals with a penchant for unpredictability – they were the fifth pair.
Shatoria, the sixth duo, intends to fully embrace all that the show has in store – enjoying new experiences while making acquaintances along the way.
Shaun and Victoria are the individual names of the Shatoria pair.
The DJs known as WanniXHandi, a 27-year-old identical twin duo from Kaduna State, are the seventh pair on the show and they have high hopes of making it to the finale.
Handi and Wanni, the twins with distinct identities guaranteed to cause twice as much mischief on the program while enjoying themselves.
As per the twin sisters, they are currently unattached and open to meeting new people.
The eighth pair to arrive were Ben and Tjay, who go by the name Beta as a duo.
Ozee and Ocee Mbadiwe, lawyers and socialites, arrived at the house as the ninth set of twin brothers with distinct identities.
Ozee expressed that the purpose of this platform is to elevate our endeavors and allow us to progress further. He believes we can flourish from the competitive nature within the house, and he hopes viewers will support us until the end.
Damilola and Toyosi are the individuals that make up TAMI, which is the 10th pair.
Nelita, the 11th pair of housemates who have been friends for nine years, pledged to showcase their uniqueness during the show. On the other hand, Toby Forge and Mayor Frosh entered as the 12th duo dubbed “Streeze.”
Double Kay is the name of the 13th pair, consisting of Kassia and Kelly Ray who got married in February.
Throughout the show, the Double Kay pair stated that they would not reveal their marital status to any other housemates.
Onyeka and Chizoba, a pair of sisters, are known as “Chekas”. They make up the 14th pair.
