Robert Lewandowski of Barcelona has a sprained left ankle, Barcelona said on Thursday.
Recall that Lewandowski had to leave Wednesday’s UEFA Champions League match between Barcelona and Porto due to injury.
After 34 minutes of Barcelona’s match against Porto, Ferran Torres took his position.
The 35-year-old, according to a statement on Barcelona’s website, will be sidelined until the injury recovers.
The former Bayern Munich attacker may therefore be unable to participate in Barcelona’s upcoming four matches against Granada, Athletic Club, Shakhtar Donetsk, and Real Madrid later this month.
According to tests done on Thursday morning, Robert Lewandowski damaged his left ankle and will be sidelined until the injury heals, according to a statement from Barcelona.
