The fourth surgery for skin cancer that Nigerian musician Bankole Wellington, better known by his stage as Banky W, underwent was a success.

On Thursday, the singer-turned-pastor revealed this on his Instagram page.

He mentioned that he made the decision to post the testimony online in order to uplift those going through difficult times.

“Final Score Christ 4 Cancer Tumours 0,” he wrote.

Sometimes, although your faith in God will see you through the storms, it won’t stop them from happening. Although it won’t always save you from hurting, faith can support you in dealing with things and help you heal.

“God guaranteed that the weapons would not prosper, but He never declared that they would not form. He never said the adversary wouldn’t arrive. He assured that the Spirit of God would raise a standard against the enemy, who would come in like a flood.

“I’m sharing my story here to inspire anyone who may be facing difficulties. Though He who is within you is greater than whatever you will encounter in this life, it may feel larger than you.

For their “love, prayers, and support,” the singer expressed gratitude to his spouse, family, friends, pastors, and physicians.

“We have the victory yet again,” he continued. Forever and ever, in the name of Jesus.

According to Obasanjonews.com, Banky W had a third cancer surgery in 2017.

Back then, he had said that he had treated a rare kind of skin cancer that had come back ten years after it had initially occurred.
