Bandits brutally kill a governor’s aide and his wife in a tragic attack. Learn more about the incident and its implications.

Gunmen, suspected to be bandits, have carried out a devastating attack on Gyaza in Kankia Local Government Area by invading the residence of Sanusi Gyaza – an aide of the Katsina State Governor. This unfortunate event has left communities reeling with grief.

On Friday night, Gyaza and his wife lost their lives in an assault.

During the invasion, Gyaza and his wife were fatally attacked. Prior to this incident, Gyaza had served as Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT) in Kankia LGA.

According to reports, the perpetrators also abducted his additional spouse.

The spokesperson for the Katsina State Police Command, ASP Abubakar Sadiq Aliyu, promised to furnish additional information at a later time when contacted for comment.
