Bandits entered the Kaduna hamlet, 37 people died
In Kaura Local Government Area of Kaduna State, bandits are said to have slain around 37 people.
On Sunday night, separate attacks happened in the Kagoro Chiefdom towns of Malagum 1 and Sokwong in the Kaura Local Government Area of the state.
The Kauru Local Government Area Chairman, Hon. Atuk Stephen, informed Channels Television that the bandits carried out the coordinated attacks at around 11 p.m. on Sunday, killing 37 people. However, the police authorities have not officially confirmed the occurrence.
Additionally, he claimed that during the raid, the bandits burned down more than 100 homes in addition to many cars and motorcycles.
He says the thieves burned down every house in the Sokwong neighbourhood and left the area in ruins.
