President Tinubu receives a warm welcome from Femi Gbajabiamila and other officials as he returns to Nigeria, reaffirming their support for his leadership and continued efforts to drive national progress.

Femi Gbajabiamila, Chief of Staff to President Bola Tinubu, announced that the president is rejuvenated after his annual leave and urged Nigerians to look forward to better days ahead.

After departing Nigeria on October 2, 2024, Tinubu has returned to the country.

Gbajabiamila, one of the top government officials who welcomed Tinubu upon his arrival at Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport in Abuja on Saturday, stated that his leader is determined to “continue the good works” for Nigerians.

“The type of work he has been engaged in over the past year and a half necessitated some rest. He took time off but made sure to balance his schedule with relaxation, making it more like a working holiday. Now that he’s returned to Nigeria rejuvenated, everyone is ready and motivated for action,” Gbajabiamila remarked at the airport while welcoming Tinubu back home.

When asked about what Nigerians should anticipate, he responded: “Essentially to pick up from where he left off by implementing policies and ensuring everything is done correctly; making sure we are moving in the right direction.”

“He is the captain of our plane, working hard to reach a cruising altitude that aligns with our destination. Soon enough, Nigerians will start witnessing the fruits of his and our collective efforts. So let’s remain expectant and hopeful as we embrace Renewed Hope; Mr. President has returned to Nigeria to continue his commendable work.”

Tinubu’s absence from the country had caused discontent among some Nigerians. Additionally, Vice President Kashim Shettima’s departure for a two-day working visit to Sweden further intensified concerns about the country’s leadership.
