Babatunde Olaniyi, a former adviser to Ajimobi, has died

Former Special Assistant on Broadcast Media to the late Abiola Ajimobi, former governor of Oyo State, Mr. Babatunde Olaniyi passed away.

Olaniyi served throughout the first term of Ajimobi’s presidency, according to OBASANJO NEWS24.

His passing was confirmed to our journalist on Wednesday.

He was an accomplished politician, writer, and broadcaster.

Dr. Wasiu Olatunbosun, the state’s commissioner for culture and tourism, confirmed the deceased’s passing in a Facebook post.

He said Olaniyi died a horrible death.
