Avoid boosting visibility of negative elements, COAS warns media

The Chief of Army Staff, Lt.-Gen. Taoreed Lagbaja, emphasized the importance of responsible media coverage during the Nigerian Army Civil-Military Cooperation Media Chat in Asaba, Delta.

Represented by Maj.-Gen. Jamal Abdusalam, Lagbaja expressed concerns over recent violent incidents in Delta State and stressed the significance of collaboration between the military and the media for national security.

Lagbaja highlighted the critical role of the media in providing accurate information, shaping public opinion, and ensuring transparency in a rapidly evolving security landscape.
