Atiku’s aide accuses PDP governors associating with Wike of betrayal, calling them traitors to the party’s core values.
A representative for Atiku Abubakar, a former presidential candidate from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has blamed the party’s issues on its governors.
Demola Olarewaju, Atiku Abubakar’s Special Assistant on Digital Media and Strategy, shared on X that any state governor aligning with FCT Minister Nyesom Wike is a traitor to the PDP.
According to Olarewaju, Wike’s significance in Nigeria’s political arena hinges on his capacity to disrupt the PDP and weaken its strength.

“Any governor who associates with him is a traitor to the PDP. Furthermore, it’s important to note that governors have been at the heart of the PDP’s crises since 2015.”
