Atiku wins the Senate presidency; Lawan’s polling unit in Yobe

Obasanjonews24 has heard that Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, won the election in the same district where Ahmed Ibrahim Lawan, the President of the Senate, voted.

Early in the morning, Lawan cast his ballot at voting place 001B at Katuzu Primary School.

According to the results, Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate for the APC, got 107 votes, while Atiku Abubakar, the candidate for the PDP, got 186 votes.

The results from the polling unit showed that the PDP got 219 votes and the APC got 114. This meant that the PDP won the election for the House of Representatives.

A number of polling places around the state have reportedly started counting since then, according to reports.
