Sam Amadi, the director of the Abuja School of Social and Political Thoughts, laid forth requirements for President Bola Tinubu’s expulsion on Friday.

Amadi argued that Tinubu need to be dismissed if the most recent presidential election wasn’t conducted fairly.

He made the decision while criticizing those who argued that the cases brought by Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP) against Tinubu before the presidential election tribunal should be dropped.

The public affairs analyst tweeted that it is illogical to demand that those who have been wronged withdraw their lawsuits in order for Tinubu’s administration to be successful.

It is absurd to say that those who have been wronged should discontinue their lawsuit in order for Tinubu’s presidency to be successful, according to Amadi. Why do we keep looking for plastic heroes?

“African intellectuals promoted the one-party state for national development in the 1960s. Neither democracy nor progress were achieved.

“Tinubu was not the first president to take the oath of office. There is no “development” that should take precedence over ensuring the impartiality and freedom of the elections in 2023. Tinubu ought to be expelled if he unfairly obtained the victory. A national development, that.
