Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has been charged with opposing his boss while serving as vice president of Nigeria, according to Bola Tinubu.

Between 1999 to 2007, Atiku, the PDP’s vice presidential candidate, served in the Olusegun Obasanjo government.

However, the party’s presidential candidate asserted that Atiku engaged in conflict with Obasanjo while they were in office while addressing at the flag-off of the Delta All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship campaign on Saturday in Warri.

“Our competitors lack shame.
The former governor of Lagos State asked the audience, “How can they think about governing while they are fighting in public?

“When Atiku was there, he was publicly arguing with his employer.
They were detailing their financial expenditures on autos for their girlfriends.
Do they feel guilt?
Will you cast another vote for them?

He reiterated his charge that the PDP betrayed the nation, telling the gathering of supporters that if the APC wins the elections next year, the party will fulfill its promises to Nigerians.

“I pledge to support your development and keep my end of the bargain.
You are Nigeria’s heart and soul as well as the nation’s future, said Tinubu.

“Gold mining and the ecosystem are equally essential.
Your hope for a peaceful and wealthy Nigeria will come true, as well as your health and wellbeing.

In addition to Tinubu, a number of APC chieftains were present at the ceremony in the oil-rich metropolis. Among them are Kashim Shettima, the party’s vice presidential nominee; Ahmed Lawan, the president of the Senate; Hope Uzodimma, the governor of Imo State; Simon Lalong, the governor of Plateau State; Emma Eneukwu, the deputy national chairman of the party for the south; and Adams Oshiomhole, the former governor of Edo State.
