Atiku answers the claim of fraud, “Why does my WAEC certificate bear Sadiq Abubakar?”
Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) nominee for president, has provided an explanation for the errors on his Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) transcript.
On Tuesday, Atiku provided the clarification in a post on his social media site, X, through one of his assistants, Dele Momodu.
Momodu claims that allegations of forgery against his principal by members of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, necessitated the clarification.
When compared to Atiku’s other credentials, some APC members had questioned the name “Sadiq Abubakar” on his WAEC certificate.
Momodu claimed he sent the claims to the former Vice President, who also offered an explanation for the inconsistency.
“The APC busybodies have been barraged me with forgery allegations against my Principal, ALHAJI ATIKU ABUBAKAR (GCON), which I immediately forwarded to him and here is his copious response,” Momodu said. “Yes, I used Sadiq Abubakar to take my WAEC exams, and after I passed them, I went to swear an affidavit to prove that I was ATIKU Abubakar. I attended ABU and successfully completed my exams as Atiku Abubakar. The Federal Civil Service Commission conducted an interview with Atiku Abubakar, who was thereafter employed as Atiku Abubakar by the Customs Service. Where then is forgery? ATIKU ABUBAKAR
“CAN THE APC social media bullies send the barrage of queries circulating to their boss and receive an immediate and direct response…
ALHAJI ATIKU ABUBAKAR, I SALUTE YOU.
