The All Progressives Congress (APC)’s Bola Tinubu’s announcement as the winner of the 2023 presidential election is being contested by the two, who are presidential contenders for their respective parties.

Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP) and Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) were both conspicuously absent as the Presidential Election Petitions Court in Abuja began its hearings on Wednesday.

The All Progressives Congress (APC)’s Bola Tinubu’s announcement as the winner of the 2023 presidential election is being contested by the two, who are presidential contenders for their respective parties.

However, they were obviously missing when the Appeal Court proceedings got underway. LP’s Julius Abure substituted for the former governor of Anambra State when the Tribunal’s Chairman Justice Haruna Tsammani requested the petitioners and respondents to introduce themselves.

The APC National Chairman Abdullahi Ganduje and Vice President Kashim Shettima, on the other hand, identified themselves as the first responders.

Along with them, governors and other APC chieftains were present where the decision was made. Also present were the LP and the PDP.
