Olaf Scholz, the chancellor of Germany, was received by President Bola Tinubu on Sunday at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa in Abuja.

A team of prominent German businessmen, including CEOs of some of the nation’s most valuable enterprises, is reported to have joined the chancellor on her two-day visit to Nigeria, along with a cultural delegation.

It is anticipated that the two presidents will discuss how to strengthen their bilateral ties with their respective nations.

Chancellor Scholz is making his first trip to Nigeria since President Tinubu’s administration took office on May 29, 2023, and this is his third significant trip to Africa.
