At Least 15 people are killed in an Armenian military barracks fire
The cause of the fire is still a mystery to the authorities.
According to the country’s defense ministry, three additional service members were critically injured and 15 soldiers perished in an overnight fire that started in the barracks of an Armenian military unit.
According to early reports, a fire that started in the barracks of an engineer and sniper company of a military unit resulted in the deaths of 15 personnel. and the government has determined that the conditions of three service members are critical.
The ministry said that the fire started in the town of Azat in Armenia’s eastern Gegharkunik district at around 1:30 a.m. on Thursday (2130 GMT Wednesday).

It stated that the fire’s origin had not yet been determined.
An explosion and the following fire at a crowded market in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia, resulted in the deaths of over a dozen people in August last year.
