Plateau State Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang warmly received the recently inaugurated Assembly members alongside their principal officers, whose election was affirmed by the Court of Appeal.
The inauguration ceremony effectively resolved any recent disputes within the Assembly, signifying a fresh start for the legislative body.
Governor Mutfwang, during a gathering at the Old Government House in Rayfield, stressed the significance of cultivating a harmonious working environment and promoting collaboration among the executive, legislative, and judicial branches for the betterment of the state.
He extended his congratulations to the newly sworn-in members and principal officers, expressing his delight in witnessing the House fully operational and ready to protect the interests of Plateau State residents.
Despite facing baseless allegations of impeding the House’s inauguration, Governor Mutfwang commended the Assembly for taking charge of its responsibilities and assured them of his administration’s unwavering support in their legislative endeavors.
