Before President Muhammadu Buhari comes to the state, Governor Aminu Bello Masari of Katsina State has declared Thursday, January 26 and Friday, January 27 to be days off from work.
This was said in a statement that the ministry’s permanent secretary, Sani Bala Kabomo, put out on Wednesday.
According to the statement, the state government granted the holiday so that public servants from all over the state could take part in giving President Buhari a deserving welcome when he commissions projects run by Governor Masari’s administration.
President Buhari is scheduled to dedicate a multibillion-naira underpass and overhead bridge built in the state capital, a source told OBASANJONEWS.
The Darma Rice Processing Company, the newly built headquarters of the Katsina State Internal Revenue Board, and the renovated Katsina State Water Board in the state capital are among the other projects that are set to open.
