Afrobeat artist Seun Kuti, who is nominated for a Grammy, has said that “prostitution” is the side gig that most musicians take on.
Less than 1% of musicians worldwide, he asserted, are not involved in “prostitution.”
In a recent video message posted on his Tiktok page, he boldly declared as much.

“I was asked why I was wearing nail polish like a prostitute,” Kuti remarked. Do you not realise that I am a prostitution?
Alright, it appears that he entered this world somewhat late. As I have already stated, there are millions of artists worldwide who are not prostitutes, but only four of them.
Playing music is a musician’s first responsibility. You work as a prostitute second job. I speak it straight and in real time. That applies to me as well as to all of your favourite musicians.
