According to reports, Arsenal has entered the competition for Ademola Lookman’s signature from Atalanta.

The winger for the Super Eagles participated in the UEFA Super Cup game against Real Madrid last Wednesday, but opted to sit out their Serie A opening match against Lecce on Monday.

According to Sport Italia’s transfer expert, Alfredo Pedullà, Lookman did not train on Wednesday because he chose not to participate.

According to the report, Arsenal has submitted an offer of €50m along with potential bonuses. However, Kiwior might also be included in the deal either on loan or as part of a purchase option in order to reduce the overall cost.

Atalanta is determined to retain the 26-year-old player and proposes to double his current wages, owing to his exceptional performance of scoring 17 goals with 10 assists in a total of 45 matches last season.
