Liverpool secured a spot in the FA Cup fourth round in a thrilling manner, surviving an onslaught from Arsenal. Despite being under pressure for most of the match, Jurgen Klopp’s team managed to capitalize on their opponents’ missed opportunities.

With Virgil Van Dijk absent due to illness, Arsenal took advantage in the first half, creating numerous chances.

However, Martin Odegaard squandered a golden opportunity, hitting the crossbar from close range. As the game progressed, Liverpool began to find their rhythm, with Luis Diaz and Diogo Jota coming close to scoring. In the 80th minute, Jakub Kiwior inadvertently headed Trent Alexander-Arnold’s free-kick into his own net, giving Liverpool the lead.

In stoppage time, Diaz sealed the victory by converting Jota’s pass into a goal. It was a dramatic and hard-fought win for Liverpool, who showed resilience in the face of Arsenal’s relentless attacks.
