Arsenal revitalized their Premier League title aspirations with a 3-0 victory against Nottingham Forest on Saturday, while Chelsea climbed to third place after defeating Leicester 2-1.

Manchester City, the current champions, are looking to end their four-game losing streak as they host Tottenham later.

Arsenal were anticipated to be strong challengers for City’s title after securing second place in the last two seasons.

The Gunners entered the weekend without a victory in their last four league matches, trailing leaders Liverpool by nine points. Meanwhile, Liverpool is set to face off against bottom-of-the-table Southampton on Sunday.

Martin Odegaard’s comeback from injury significantly enhances Arsenal’s chances of securing their first title in more than 20 years. His assist set up Bukayo Saka to score the opening goal at the 15-minute mark.

Saka set up Thomas Partey for another remarkable goal, doubling the home team’s lead early in the second half.

Ethan Nwaneri made a remarkable impact by coming off the bench to score his debut Premier League goal, expertly slotting in Raheem Sterling’s cross. The highly-regarded 17-year-old showcased his talent with this impressive finish.

Despite not capitalizing on their dominance during manager Enzo Maresca’s return to Leicester, Chelsea continue to stay ahead of Arsenal based on goals scored.

Ismaila Sarr and Justin Devenny each scored to give the Eagles the lead twice, before Ollie Watkins equalized for their opponent just before halftime.

Villa’s Youri Tielemans had his first-half penalty saved by Dean Henderson, but the Belgian midfielder redeemed himself with an assist for Ross Barkley’s header, which secured a point.
