Apple co-founder hospitalized due to suspected stroke – media
But according to TMZ, Steve Wozniak was hospitalised for vertigo, thus his condition is supposedly lot less serious.
Steve Wozniak, the co-founder of Apple, is hospitalised in Mexico City, according to many news sources. The 73-year-old may have had a stroke, according to local media, although other sources claimed his illness was much less severe.
On Wednesday afternoon, the well-known internet entrepreneur was supposed to speak at a World Business Forum gathering in the nation’s capital. But according to Mexican media site REFORMA, which cited conference sources, Wozniak had to be transported to the hospital due to a “cerebrovascular accident,” therefore his presentation was cancelled.

The American computer scientist was sent in for a “urgent MRI scan,” according to other Mexican media reports, and his health was stable.
According to TMZ, which cited “sources with direct knowledge,” Wozniak did deliver his presentation but immediately told his wife he was “feeling strange.” Then, according to reports, he began displaying vague symptoms that alarmed his wife Janet Hill, who ultimately demanded that Wozniak be put under medical observation.
The US media site claimed that the Apple co-founder was undergoing testing, and that several members of his staff were travelling to Mexico City to inquire about his health.
Wozniak and the late Steve Jobs co-founded the Apple Computer firm in 1976, which went on to become a market leader in the development and production of laptops, personal computers, and other consumer electronics. The company gained recognition throughout the world for its iconic iPhone smartphones.
