Appeal Court sets date for delivering verdict on Nasarawa governorship dispute
On Thursday, the Court of Appeal in Abuja will render a verdict in the Nasarawa State gubernatorial election dispute.
This is from a court notice that our correspondent was able to obtain on Wednesday.
According to Obasanjo News24, Abdullahi Sule, the state governor, was fired by the state election petition tribunal after the Independent National Electoral Commission certified him the winner.

INEC reports that Sule defeated his nearest rival, who received 283,016 votes, with a total of 347,209 votes.
On October 2, the tribunal rendered a divided verdict, dismissing Sule from the All Progressives Congress and announcing David Ombugadu from the Peoples Democratic Party as the election’s victor.
However, Sule requested that the appeal court reverse the tribunal’s decision by contacting it through his attorney, Wole Olanipekun (SAN).
