On Friday, the Court of Appeal in Abuja upheld Uba Sani’s election as the legitimate governor of Kaduna State.
Governor Sani’s election victory was revoked by the Kaduna State governorship election petition tribunal.
The Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) candidate for governor, Isah Ashiru, contested Sani’s win in court.

Francis Nwifuru’s election as the governor of Ebonyi State has also been confirmed by a different division of the Court of Appeal located in Lagos.
A three-person panel rendered the decision on Friday.
According to Obasanjo News24, Nwifuru and Uba are both members of the All Progressives Congress (APC), which is now in power.
