Ozigbo, who expressed his dissatisfaction with Soludo’s governance during an interview with journalists, announced his intention to run for the governorship in 2025 as a replacement.
APGA, however, believes that Ozigbo’s criticism is merely a ploy to gain public sympathy and attract donations for his campaign.
Ejimofor Opara, the Media and Publicity Secretary of APGA, stated that Ozigbo’s remarks lacked substance as he failed to provide any alternative solutions or suggestions for improvement.
Opara also accused Ozigbo of suffering from a midlife crisis and urged him to focus on more productive endeavors.
Furthermore, Opara dismissed Ozigbo’s promise of serving only one term as a political tactic and emphasized that Soludo’s performance has been widely recognized by the people of Anambra.
In conclusion, Opara stated that Ozigbo’s political career is solely dependent on his association with Peter Obi.
