APGA crisis won’t affect Soludo’s re-election – Ezeokenwa
Ezeokenwa states that the internal crisis in APGA will not hinder Soludo’s re-election efforts. Learn more about his confidence.
Sylvester Ezeokenwa, the factional Chairman of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), is assured that the party’s internal political turmoil will not impede Anambra State Governor Charles Soludo’s re-election.
On Friday, Ezeokenwa gave this statement during his appearance on Politics Today, a program aired by Channels Television.
He stated that despite the crises during previous governors Willie Obiano and Peter Obi’s elections, the party still came out victorious.
Despite facing crises and issues in 2009, 2013, 2017, and even as recent as this year in the election of Professor Charles Soludo, these challenges did not hinder the re-elections or elections of Governors Peter Obi and Willie Obiano.

He stated that the individuals carrying out this act do so only when elections draw near, every four years. However, Anambra State and its inhabitants trust and are committed to APGA’s contributions in their state.
Ezeokenwa was elected as the chairman of APGA in May 2023 during a convention held at Awka, Anambra State.
Nonetheless, INEC acknowledged Edozie Njoku as the national chair of APGA in July citing a court order for its action.
According to Njoku, he was appointed as APGA’s national chairman at a convention held in Owerri, the capital city of Imo State.
