The party said that more than a month after the elections, the APC’s deception had persisted.
The All Progressives Congress’ “desperation to capture and keep power by dirty methods” must be halted, according to the Labour Party.
More than a month after the elections, the party claims that the purported deception of the APC is still going strong.
The party said in a statement signed by Dr. Yunusa Tanko, the chief spokesman, and Diran Onifade, the head of Obi-Datti Media, that although it follows the law to seek regress, the current administration has “resorted to mischief” and unending lies to maintain its hold on power.
“After orchestrating the incident on the Ibom Air plane and the embarrassing display in Port Harcourt, they have now moved on to disseminating a deceptive audio clip intended to stir up religious strife in the nation.
“All of these are intended to do nothing more than cause flagrant mayhem in an effort to demarket Peter Obi. If the plan was to undermine credibility, it has utterly failed. Only Peter Obi, according to historical records, has encouraged Nigerian voters not to choose their president based on their religion or tribe.
As a result, we would like to urge the people of Nigeria to keep working hard to reclaim the mandate that, as far as we are aware, was freely granted to Peter Obi and Datti Baba-Ahmed by legal methods.
“It is more significant than expecting individuals who stood for office using false documentation and even made-up bishops to stop lying.
The LP statement partially stated, “They cannot stop being phoney since that is who they are.”
